Picture this: It’s 3rd shift in our temperature-controlled Warsaw, IN facility. You review work orders in the Visual Labor Entry system, prep a 3/4/5‑axis VMC, load fixtures and jigs, dial in tooling, and cut first-piece parts. You verify features to blueprints and AQL using calipers, micrometers, an optical comparator, and height gauges. You make smart offsets and tool changes, deburr every edge, and keep production flowing—safely, precisely, and on time.

• Set up and operate 3/4/5‑axis CNC milling centers to manufacture parts to blueprint specs and work instructions.
• Run CNC milling, finishing equipment, and hand tools; use fixtures and jigs per established procedures and guidelines.
• Perform setups from prints and instructions; make machine adjustments and tool changes as needed.
• Interface with the Visual Labor Entry system and monitor work orders throughout the shift.
• Conduct in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, optical comparator, and height gauges; verify to AQL and work instructions.
• Remove burrs on all parts as required to meet quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, inspection checksheets, and instructions.
• Maintain accurate counts of good/scrap parts; complete production paperwork and required entries in the company database.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; support a safe, clean work area.
• Perform any and all other duties as assigned.

• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and depth micrometers.
• Ability to read/interpret blueprints and work operation sheets to determine process steps.
• Solid understanding of CNC milling machines and controls.
• Strong computer skills and comfort working with digital systems.
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and works with minimal supervision.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
