We are searching for an outstanding Payroll Support Specialist to join our team. If you have a background in Payroll, Accounting, a passion for construction, and an insane need and desire to be part of building great projects, then please read on!

What you'll be doing: 

• Following up on timesheet submissions to ensure all team members have submitted their hours.

• Verifying that timesheets are coded correctly for time off (PTO, etc.) for job-costed employees.

• Ensuring timesheets have been reviewed and approved by managers prior to payroll processing.

• Tracking and following up on pending time-off approvals.

• Responding to employee inquiries about available PTO balances, accrual resets, and time-off policies.

• Assisting with new hire onboarding related to payroll setup.

• Handling dependent care claim questions and basic benefit support.

• Managing HSA account setup tracking, including employer match and contribution limit monitoring.

• Running and emailing out weekly and monthly payroll-related reports.

What you need for this position:

• 2+ years of experience in payroll, HR support, or administrative coordination.

• Strong follow-up and communication skills across multiple departments.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail.

• Familiarity with payroll platforms and timekeeping systems.

• Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with data and reporting tools.

• Experience with Paylocity is a plus.
