The (USA) Director, Marketplace leads our efforts to optimize seller performance and assortment management while driving business growth through data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration. About the team: The Marketplace team drives sales by focusing on our customers, both our sellers and our buyers, by delivering exceptional merchandise at competitive prices with blazing fast speed. This group excels in strategic business planning, leveraging data analytics, and fostering strong partnerships across functions. Members collaborate to develop innovative sourcing and assortment strategies, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer needs. What you'll do: Lead strategic initiatives to develop and grow the marketplace business, aligning with organizational priorities and market trends. Collaborate cross-functionally to build strong partnerships and drive consensus among multiple stakeholders. Utilize data analytics and customer insights to inform decision-making and optimize marketplace performance. Oversee seller lifecycle management, including onboarding, performance reviews, and issue resolution. Drive business process improvements and innovation to enhance operational efficiency and customer value. Coach and mentor teams to strengthen communication, drive results, and develop their business acumen. Represent the marketplace function in executive discussions, presenting clear, data-driven narratives. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
