Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art hospital facility, where you will work closely with a diverse interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists. Our clinic is designed to support patient comfort and healing, featuring modern equipment and therapy areas tailored to facilitate a wide range of rehabilitation activities. While the primary schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, occasional flexibility may be required to meet patient needs and operational demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in executing individualized treatment plans by focusing on improving patients' mobility, strength, and functional independence.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities, actively supporting their physical well-being and pain management efforts.
• Educate patients on body mechanics, exercise techniques, and appropriate home exercise programs to enhance their recovery processes.
• Administer therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy under the supervision of physical therapists.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, diligently observing changes in range of motion, strength levels, and overall functional improvements.
• Prepare treatment areas for therapy and ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are organized and ready for use during sessions.
• Engage collaboratively with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, optimizing treatment outcomes through integrated efforts.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, cultivating a motivating and supportive environment.
• Maintain strict adherence to ethical practices and professional standards, safeguarding patient confidentiality and rights at all times.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive and falls between USD 50,000 and 65,000 annually.
