The Role:
We are seeking an engaging technical leader to join our Portfolio Planning & Business Transformation team within the Body Manufacturing Engineering organization.
As a Planning and Scheduling Development Engineer, you will serve as the business‑facing Functional Lead for the Tool Management and Control System (TMaCS). You will partner closely with IT and development teams to define, implement, and continuously improve planning and scheduling solutions that support operational goals.
In this role, you will act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating operational needs into clear functional requirements and practical system solutions. You will identify process and system gaps, guide system functionality, and validate that enhancements meet user and business expectations through testing and adoption support.
With a strong focus on efficiency, accuracy, and cross‑functional collaboration, you will help advance planning and scheduling capabilities across the organization. You will also play a key role in supporting the migration from Microsoft Dynamics AX to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 cloud platform.
Five Areas of Responsibility:
One: Business Owner / Functional Lead – Tool Management and Control System (TMaCS)

- Maintain functional artifacts and work items within Azure DevOps
Three: Validation, Testing & Change Management
- Globally lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across test and production environments
- Create, maintain, assign, and execute test cases; support UAT and smoke testing cycles
- Review and retire test cases based on current business processes and solution maturity
- Support Enterprise Change Management (ECM) activities and validations
- Govern and maintain global user access lists and authorization reviews
- Contribute to the definition and standardization of Planning & Scheduling business standards
Four: Deployment & Migration Support

- Process integration and rollout readiness
- Pilot execution and stabilization
- System configuration and setup
- Data and functionality migration
- Gap analysis and cutover support
- Provide go‑live and launch support for new functionality
- Develop and maintain baseline training materials and job aids
- Support the migration from Microsoft Dynamics AX to Dynamics 365 (D365) Cloud
Five: Post-Deployment & Operational Support
- Conduct global business process reviews and functional assessments
- Provide interpretation of data structures and system behavior to business users
- Lead and support working sessions with regional teams on TMaCS setup and usage
- Support user provisioning and AX/D365 security roles (as assigned)
- Act as a subject‑matter resource for TMaCS usage, planning logic, and business processes
- Drive consistency in global work processes and system usage
- Lead global TMaCS user group meetings to share knowledge and best practices
