Make a difference in the lives of students as a dedicated Physical Therapist during this contract opportunity covering a maternity leave for the 2nd Semester, running from January 4 to May 28, 2027. Contribute your skills and compassion in a school-based environment, providing essential support for approximately 40-45 students across preschool and elementary settings, as well as serving two homebound students. This role offers a unique chance to establish meaningful connections with children and help them achieve their physical developmental goals in a supportive educational community.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Active Physical Therapy licensure for the state of Arizona
• Previous experience working with pediatric or school-based populations is highly valued
• Knowledge of assessments, interventions, and therapeutic modalities for children
• Comfort and adaptability in managing caseloads across multiple student age groups
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Compassion, patience, and talent for encouraging student growth at all developmental levels

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services in accordance with each student’s IEP
• Conduct assessments to identify therapy needs and measure progress
• Consult and collaborate with teaching staff and families to develop effective interventions
• Maintain thorough records and participate in IEP meetings
• Adapt and modify activities for accessibility and safety
• Provide services for homebound students as needed
• Promote a positive, motivating environment for all students
