Details Work in a high-level, high-functioning PCU with multiple long-term patients Patient ratio of 1:5 Day shift schedule of 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Weekend rotation required Holiday rotation required No on-call responsibilities Floating required to any Cone Health campus as needed EPIC EMR experience required Requirements Active RN license (NC or Compact) in hand at time of consideration Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Cardiac telemetry experience required Experience with management and interpretation of dysrhythmias Peripheral line and PICC line care/management experience Experience titrating drips Must pass a compliance EKG exam (Pass/Fail, two attempts allowed) Current driver's license required to verify address Additional Information Responsibilities include respiratory support, IV therapy, blood product administration, central and peripheral line management, and wound care Cardiac monitoring and emergency response duties including dysrhythmia interpretation and management Experience with BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and non-invasive airway management preferred Experience with IV insulin protocols and titration preferred Previous charge nurse experience preferred First-time travelers are welcome to apply Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted RTO must be submitted with the application; post-submission RTO requests are not accepted American Traveler Job ID P-750567.
