As a Security Officer - Data Center Rover in Mesa, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a dynamic technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access permissions in accordance with site policies, and report unusual behavior, maintenance issues, and/or potential risks to the appropriate personnel.
- Support site operations during events, high-traffic periods, and after-hours activity by providing a visible presence, assisting with directions, and helping occupants follow location protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
