As a Security Officer - Operations Mobile Rover in Mesa, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. - Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a high-traffic technology data center location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper site channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related risks.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and vendor access authorizations, and support badge, escort, and screening procedures in accordance with site requirements.
- Support ongoing site operations by communicating with onsite personnel, following post orders, and helping to maintain awareness of changing conditions across the campus environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
