Labor and Employment Attorney

Attorney Position at Barnes & Thornburg LLPBarnes & Thornburg LLP is seeking an attorney with expertise in either traditional labor or employment litigation to join our Ann Arbor office and well-respected national practice. The ideal candidate has experience with the full array of labor and/or employment litigation work, including but not limited to 5+ years of substantial knowledge and experience in either traditional labor matters or employment litigation.Qualifications (Employment):Substantial single plaintiff employment litigation and counseling and/or traditional labor law experiencePreferred candidates will also have experience with employment law advice and counseling, and wage and hour and employment class action litigationOutstanding writing, research, and analytical skillsStrong academic credentialsCandidates should also be admitted and in good standing with the Michigan barQualifications (Labor):Substantial traditional labor law experience/knowledge on arbitrations, contract administration, and/or NLRB matters, including union avoidance and union campaigns and unfair labor practice defenseOutstanding writing, research, and analytical skillsStrong academic credentialsCandidates should also be admitted and in good standing with the Michigan barBarnes & Thornburg LLP is an AmLaw 100 national, full-service law firm with 26 offices.
