Full-Time Grill Cook

Columbus Country Club, located in Columbus, OH, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Grill Cook. We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Prepare and execute all grilled menu items including proteins, sandwiches, and accompaniments according to recipes and plating standards
• Maintain proper cooking temperatures, portion control, and food presentation at all times
• Set up and break down the grill station before and after service
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service standards and ticket times
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures in compliance with local health regulations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked grill station throughout service
• Communicate effectively with chefs, expeditors, and fellow line cooks during service
• Assist with prep work, inventory rotation, and labeling as needed
• Properly store food items following FIFO standards
• Support other kitchen stations as business levels require

Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Certificates/Licenses:

• Food handler's certification
• Local health and alcohol awareness certification

Job knowledge, skills, and ability preferences:

• Basic cooking skills
• Saut and broiler experience

Physical demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds overhead
• Frequent bending, turning, kneeling, and stooping
• Exposure to hot and cold temperatures, fumes, and exhaust
• Must be able to operate a golf cart in a safe manner
• Repetitive motion required in food preparation
• Must stand for extended periods
• Normal vision and hearing required
