What You'll Do:

• Evaluate patients' physical, neurological, respiratory, cardiovascular, social, and cognitive functions through assessments and testing.
• Develop patient-specific treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient tolerance.
• Implement therapy regimens, including activities and modalities, in collaboration with physicians and the care team.
• Document treatment progress and update plans of care accordingly, ensuring they meet established standards.
• Supervise and support Occupational Therapist Assistants, aides, and students as applicable.
• Educate patients and their families on conditions, treatment options, and prognosis to promote recovery and safety.
• Coordinate care and treatment schedules with patients, families, and facility staff.

What You Need:

• Valid State License to Practice Occupational Therapy in Michigan
• Relevant outpatient therapy experience preferred
• Strong assessment, planning, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
