The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with various dental issues, performing dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals, and educating patients on proper dental care.Qualifications:Completion of a Dental Medicine degree from an accredited UniversityCurrent and unrestricted New York State dental license to practiceAt least one (1) year of experience working as a staff DentistCurrent DEA registrationBLS/CPR certificationExcellent clinical skills and knowledge of dental procedures and protocolsStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse patient populationsAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentProficiency in electronic health records systems is a plusResponsibilities:Deliver general dentistry, diagnostic, preventive, and restorative services to patientsRefer patients to appropriate healthcare providers for additional evaluation or support when necessaryMaintain thorough patient care records, including medications, allergies, data, assessments, and treatment plansOversee dental care quality standards through Quality Assurance and Peer Review AuditsEducate patients on their diagnosis, treatment plans, and expected outcomesAddress patient inquiries promptly and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues in a respectful mannerAttend mandatory staff meetings and carry out other relevant duties as neededThe selected candidate will be offered a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, paid time off, CME days with an annual stipend, eligibility for student loan repayment through the National Health Service Corps, paid malpractice insurance, and more. Salary Range: $154,000 - $164,000, depending on experience.
