Shift Details
Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Weekends are call only
Night call required every 3-4 days

Requirements
Board Certified in Anesthesiology
Active Iowa license or IMLC with LOQ
ACLS certification
Availability for a minimum of two weeks per month
Availability required during the weeks of November 23 and December 21
COVID vaccination
Clean malpractice history with no settled or pending cases

Required Procedures/Skills
Conscious sedation

Assignment Details
Facility hiring multiple candidates
Level III trauma center
OB coverage required, including TOLAC
Pediatric cases included, primarily tonsillectomies and adenoidectomies
Some supervision required
Anesthesia team includes six physicians and two CRNAs
Thirteen operating rooms
Department averages 30-50 cases per day
EMR: Epic
