Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while interacting with clients through teletherapy methods. Despite the virtual setting, you will be supported by an engaging and collaborative team committed to mental health advocacy. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms in clients, facilitating a deeper understanding of each patient’s unique challenges.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that address clients' specific needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring a personalized approach to care.

• Implement proven evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to equip clients with coping strategies and tools for improvement.

• Provide continuous education and support to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care practices.

• Monitor client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect changing needs and conditions.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and other medical professionals to ensure an integrated approach to care.

• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in mood disorders to enhance treatment strategies and improve client outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards throughout treatment.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and clinical supervision to promote professional development and collegial support.

• Engage in advocacy efforts for mental health awareness and support clients in navigating social services as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our client demographic is diverse and includes vulnerable populations, including homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence.
