Criminal & Immigration Attorney

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Criminal & Immigration Attorney to join our legal team. Duties Represent clients in criminal defense cases, including arraignments, hearings, trials, and appeals across various jurisdictions. Advise clients on immigration matters such as visas, asylum applications, deportation defense, and naturalization processes. Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies. Draft and review legal documents including motions, pleadings, affidavits, and client correspondence with precision and clarity. Negotiate plea agreements, settlement terms, or immigration solutions that align with clients’ best interests. Maintain detailed case files and ensure compliance with all procedural requirements. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies, courts, government officials, and community organizations to facilitate case progress. Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in Georgia, or ability to become licensed promptly. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
