Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Reston, VA or Houston, TX – Hybrid Pay Rate: $35/hr. on W2 Duration: 12 Months We are seeking a highly organized and execution-focused Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, budget governance, forecasting, and continuous improvement within a growing Cybersecurity & Digital Risk Management organization. Key Responsibilities Manage budget governance, financial cadences, and program-level spend tracking. Monitor and report budget vs. actuals, forecasts, accruals, variances, and financial metrics . Track program and vendor spend against SOWs, POs, contracts, and approved budgets . Identify cost risks, funding gaps, and financial variances and drive corrective actions. Partner with Finance, Procurement, business leaders, and delivery teams on financial operations. Process and support purchase requisitions, POs, invoices, and accruals . Support annual budgeting, long-term planning, quarterly forecasting, and funding requests. Consolidate financial data and provide clear, executive-ready reporting and insights. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field , or equivalent experience. 6–10 years of experience in FP&A, business operations, or program finance. Experience managing budgets, forecasts, vendor/SOW spend, POs, invoices, and accruals . Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting . Advanced Excel skills. Experience with financial systems such as SAP, Ariba and BI/reporting tools such as Power BI . Strong stakeholder management, organization, attention to detail, and communication skills. Ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable business insights. #J-18808-Ljbffr
