Psychosocial Rehab Counselor: Community Reintegration

Psychosocial Rehabilitation Counselor (4042) Responsibilities Assists in the overall functioning of the program to provide various services to individuals with mental illness and co‑occurring disorders; assists in the development and implementation of relevant programming designed to meet the specific needs of individuals of all age groups, including young adults with mental illness and co‑occurring disorders; assists with maintaining an orderly program environment; facilitates self‑help groups; facilitates community reintegration activities; participates as an Intensive Community Services Program team member; performs required program documentation; and provides back‑up for other team members. Requirements Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Vocational Rehabilitation, Counseling, Sociology, Criminal Justice, or other approved Human Services degree OR Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner in Virginia At least one year of clinical experience within the past seven years providing mental health services Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and ability to drive a 15‑passenger vehicle Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request.
