Specialty Representative/Sr Specialty Representative -Primary Care -Elizabeth City, NC

Amgen seeks a Specialty or Senior Specialty Representative to promote primary care products across eastern North Carolina. The role involves delivering clinical knowledge to healthcare professionals, managing territory sales, coordinating patient access programs, and supporting marketing strategy execution.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clinical benefits and product knowledge to medical professionals to drive appropriate drug utilization
• Achieve territory sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement, educational programs, and branded messaging
• Develop and maintain customer relationships, manage product access, and resolve reimbursement issues
• Analyze sales activities, provide market feedback, and develop territory plans with District Manager
• Partner with colleagues to share best practices and support organizational goals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree with 4+ years sales experience, or high school diploma with 6+ years sales experience
• For Senior role: Bachelor's degree plus 3+ years sales/clinical healthcare experience, or Associate's plus 6+ years, or high school plus 8+ years
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare industries preferred
• Sales experience in oncology, cardiology, inflammation, nephrology, dermatology, or related therapeutic specialties preferred
• Advanced relationship-building and influencing skills with focus on sales outcomes
• Local market knowledge of Elizabeth City, Hertford, Ahoskie, Aulander NC area
