Physical Therapist Requirements & Responsibilities: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required Current, unencumbered state Physical Therapy License; must pass the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) 1 year of previous experience as a Physical Therapist preferred, New Grad’s accepted.
