Trusts & Estates Partner

I’m partnering with a national trusts & estates firm that is looking to add a Partner to its Chicago office. The firm operates at the highest end of the private wealth market, advising ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families on sophisticated domestic and international estate planning, wealth transfer, tax planning, and trust administration matters. The client base is concentrated around families with $50M+ in assets, including significantly larger multigenerational and internationally connected families. This is a particularly strong opportunity for an experienced trusts & estates attorney who wants to work on highly sophisticated matters without needing to bring an existing book of business. Responsibilities Advise UHNW individuals and families on sophisticated estate, gift, GST, and income tax planning Handle complex wealth transfer and multigenerational planning matters Work on domestic and international trusts & estates matters Counsel clients on trust and estate administration Advise family offices, business owners, fiduciaries, and internationally connected families Manage sophisticated client relationships and work closely with other senior attorneys across the firm Qualifications Partner-level trusts & estates or private wealth experience Strong technical estate planning and drafting background Experience advising UHNW clients, ideally with $50M+ estates Exposure to international or cross-border planning is highly valued Ability to independently manage sophisticated matters and client relationships No portable book of business required Illinois bar admission or ability to become admitted #J-18808-Ljbffr Verital Advisory Search
