Human Resources Manager - Beverly Hills Location

Platinum is looking for a hands-on Human Resources Manager to support our Beverly Hills office. You'll be the first point of contact for employees on site and will handle the full range of day-to-day HR work, supporting a workforce of 100+ employees and independent contractors. This role reports to our Corporate Human Resources Director and works directly with the C-suite. What you'll do Manage all job postings: draft and publish openings, maintain job boards and track applicants. Team leaders run their own interviews, and you own onboarding for every new hire. Run onboarding end to end: offer letters, new-hire paperwork, orientation, system access and first-week setup. Administer the independent contractor lifecycle: agreements, onboarding, documentation, records and offboarding, working with Legal and Accounting on classification and payment. Serve as the on-site HR resource for a group of 100+ employees and contractors. Handle employee relations matters, including intake of concerns, workplace investigations and documented follow-up. Maintain personnel and contractor files accurately and confidentially. Support payroll with timekeeping, pay changes and commission documentation. Administer leaves of absence, accommodations and workers' compensation reporting. Keep the company current on California and federal employment requirements, including wage and hour rules, required postings and harassment-prevention training. Coordinate performance reviews and support team leaders with coaching and documentation. Assist the Corporate HR Director and executive team with policy updates, handbook revisions and HR reporting. What you bring 3+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 1 year handling employee relations independently. Experience supporting 100+ workers, including independent contractors or a contingent workforce. Working knowledge of California employment law. Sound judgment and discretion with confidential information. Clear, professional written and verbal communication. Comfort working directly with executives and with employees at every level. Proficiency with HRIS, applicant tracking and payroll systems, plus Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. PHR, SHRM-CP or similar certification is a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Details Schedule: Monday - Friday, on-site in Beverly Hills. Frequent visits to our Van Nuys office. Compensation: $30.00-$36.00 per hour, based on experience.
