Licenses/Certifications: BLS, NRP required

Experience: Previous NICU Level III/IV experience preferred

What You'll Do

• Provide specialized neonatal care to infants in a Level III NICU, including preterm and high-risk neonates
• Manage respiratory support, including ventilator settings and adjustments (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP)
• Administer medications using the Pyxis medication system, including vasopressors, surfactants, and steroids
• Document patient care accurately in the EPIC system
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team and families using SBAR method
• Perform procedures such as arterial line management, central line care, and neonatal abstinence syndrome interventions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient care

What You Need

Required:

• Valid Nursing license (RN) in Ohio or valid multi-state license
• BLS and NRP certifications
• NICU Level III/IV experience preferred
• Competency in cardiovascular rhythm interpretation, IV therapy, and infection control measures

Preferred:

• Experience working at Nationwide Children's Hospital or similar high-acuity NICU settings
