Title
Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience; preferred experience in Level III/IV NICU.
- Valid nursing license required.
- Required certifications: BLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- Experience with ventilator management, arterial/umbilical and central line care, IV vasopressors, dysrhythmia interpretation, feeding management, and infection control is essential.
- Proficient in charting using an electronic medical record (eMAR) system.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to neonates in a Level III NICU setting.
- Monitor and manage patients with respiratory distress, glucose management, and pre/post-surgical needs.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including nurse practitioners, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy.
- Administer medications, including surfactants and steroids, as per protocols.
- Interpret and respond to dysrhythmias in critically ill neonates.
- Educate parents and caregivers about care routines and discharge planning.

Compliance / Notes
- Vaccination requirements: Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only).
- Credentialing and compliance processes must be adhered to for all nursing staff.
