Requirements The list below is preferred but will train the right candidate Previous dental front desk experience Experience with dental scheduling and patient check-in/check-out Knowledge of dental insurance, eligibility, benefits, and claims Comfortable discussing treatment estimates, copays, deductibles, and patient balances Experience with insurance verification and pre-authorizations Familiarity with dental terminology and CDT procedure codes Strong computer and administrative skills Professional, friendly, and compassionate communication with patients Ability to multitask in a busy dental office Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Professional appearance and positive attitude Primary Responsibilities Answer and manage incoming phone calls Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments Check patients in and out Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances Maintain accurate patient records Communicate effectively with the office manager, dentist, hygienists, and dental assistants Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming patient experience Job Description Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patient Care: Gentle, compassionate, and patient-centered approach Teamwork: Dependable and able to work well as part of a team Experience: New graduates are welcome to apply Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
