Step into a dynamic and supportive school environment by providing long-term speech-language pathology services at elementary schools in the Ellicott City, MD area. Current openings are available for contract SLPs to serve as substitutes within multiple elementary schools, with assignments ranging from immediate starts to mid-November and lasting through mid-February or potentially the end of the school year. These roles require on-site presence and are open to fully licensed SLPs or CFYs.

Desired Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required or be in your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience working in school settings is highly valued
• Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) is preferred for certain caseloads
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to elementary students across a variety of settings including general education, early childhood, and regional support programs
• Maintain accurate documentation related to assessment, intervention, and progress reporting
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to design and implement effective therapy plans
• Adapt services to meet the specific needs of diverse student populations and multiple caseload assignments, with potential split schedules between schools

Available Positions Include:

• Full-time roles (5 days/week, 37.5 hours weekly) at single or split elementary school sites
• Assignments begin either immediately or mid-November, with potential for extension
