A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification to work with students in a vibrant district near Ellicott City, MD. Help elementary, middle, and high school students communicate more effectively, promoting a positive learning environment while making a lasting difference in their educational journeys.

This role is immediately open, with placements available across multiple schools. Flexible scheduling may allow you to combine assignments for a full-time position, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours. Current needs include:

• Wilde Lake High School: 4 days/week, with potential expansion to 5 days.
• Forest Ridge Elementary: 4 days/week, potential for 5 days.
• Hammond Middle School: 3 days/week.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Maryland SLP license required.
• CCC certification or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status.
• Previous school-based SLP experience is highly valued.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to tailor interventions to diverse student needs.
• Passion for empowering students to reach their academic and social potential.

Responsibilities Will Include:

• Conducting evaluations and diagnostics for students with communication disorders.
• Developing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students on your caseload.
• Providing direct therapy services in alignment with IEP goals.
• Collaborating with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress.
• Maintaining documentation and compliance with local and state guidelines.
• Engaging as an active member of the multidisciplinary team.
