Global Medical Strategy & Operations Lead, Medical Excellence & Ethics, BioPharmaceuticals Medical

AstraZeneca seeks a Global Medical Strategy & Operations Lead to partner with the Global Head of Medical Excellence & Ethics, translating enterprise priorities into integrated strategy and operating plans. The role drives governance, business planning, portfolio management, and continuous improvement across a complex global organization.
Responsibilities
- Translate enterprise and Global Medical priorities into integrated ME&E strategy, portfolio and operating plan
- Maintain integrated portfolio view of priorities, milestones, interdependencies, resources, risks and value delivery
- Lead disciplined execution across leadership forums and strategic initiatives with visible progress tracking
- Lead ME&E business-planning cycle including prioritization, budgeting, resource planning and performance reporting
- Identify and implement process improvements using digital technologies, data and automation to enhance efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science, business, operations, strategy, or related discipline
- 5+ years experience in business operations, strategy execution, or strategic operations in matrix environments
- Proven ability to establish governance, planning, and performance management for complex priorities
- Skill synthesizing strategic, operational and financial data into actionable recommendations for executives
- Strong results orientation with ability to manage risk and deliver outcomes independently
- Experience improving business processes and ways of working for efficiency and scalability
- Understanding of digital tools, data-enabled working, automation or AI approaches
