Property Accountant

Property Accountant
Salary: $85,000-$120,000 (Depending on Experience)
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (On-site)

- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for assigned properties
- Analyze retail leases, abstract lease terms, and maintain accurate lease information within accounting systems
- Complete CAM, real estate tax, and insurance reconciliations while calculating tenant billings
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
- Monitor tenant accounts, rent rolls, collections, and account reconciliations
- Support internal controls, audits, and financial compliance initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 1-5+ years of commercial real estate or retail property accounting experience
- Working knowledge of CAM reconciliations and retail lease structures, including NNN and percentage rent
- Experience with Yardi, MRI, or RealPage, along with strong Microsoft Excel skills
