Head of Marketing

• Build and own Sage executive acquisition channels and targets
• Design and run virtual and in-person Sage events
• Own paid and digital acquisition, including creative, targeting, landing pages, and performance optimization
• Build partnerships with executive communities, VC firms, and adjacent organizations
• Develop product-led growth mechanics, beginning with referrals
• Engage Sages in video interviews, webinars, written content, and event speaking opportunities
• Build a repeatable customer advocacy program
• Own content strategy using Sagetap's proprietary enterprise evaluation data
• Grow the weekly Sage Signal newsletter
• Produce reports and data-driven insights
• Amplify executive thought leadership from the CEO and Head of Business Operations
• Own activation from signup through first session
• Partner on welcome sequences, lifecycle email, notifications, and user touchpoints
• Diagnose and improve activation funnel performance
• Build and maintain the Sage target account list in CRM
• Own tracking, attribution, and marketing automation
• Provide visibility into pipeline and performance
• Operate experiments within a small budget and create funding through vendor-sponsored events and co-marketing
• Work directly with the CEO and Head of Business Operations on company strategy

Requirements

• Experience building demand for a marketplace, community, or network where the audience was the scarce resource
• Experience with P&L and attribution models
• Experience running events attended by senior executives
• Strong writing skills and a point of view on reaching executives
• Credibility with senior technology leaders, including the ability to converse with a CISO
• Ability to operate without a large team or budget
• Willingness to own measurable growth accountability
• Experience with enterprise security or AI, community-led growth, or building a media property alongside a product is a bonus
• USA work authorization
• Must live and intend to work in the San Francisco or NYC area; within 100 miles of San Francisco or New York
• Company sponsorship requirements must be disclosed
