APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting manufacturing company looking to add a Process Technician to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to set up, start up, shut down, and troubleshoot injection molding processes and related auxiliary equipment while ensuring quality standards and established production rates are met. • 3rd Shift position 11:00 pm - 7:00 am Monday - Friday
• Starting rate of $29.29 per hour, plus an 8% shift premium; pay may be higher for a highly experienced candidate

What your day will look like:

• Set up injection molding machines and related auxiliary equipment for production runs.
• Perform process start-up, shut down, troubleshooting, and document process changes according to internal procedures.
• Support Shift Supervisors, Die Setters, and Material Handlers to ensure safe, timely, and accurate setups.
• Monitor part quality and production rates, helping ensure only product meeting established quality criteria is packaged.
• Assist with new mold samples, process documentation, mold/mechanical maintenance, work orders, and other production needs as assigned.

What we are looking for:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 5 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in injection molding/process technology.
• Strong injection molding troubleshooting, machine setup, and process documentation experience.
• RJG molding philosophies preferred; Master Molder training and experience with mold cavity pressure sensors are also preferred.
• Ability to work safely around moving mechanical equipment, use required PPE, and lift/move up to 45 pounds as needed.
