Production Technician

Pay Rate: $20.00 / hour

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (OT as needed)

Type: Possible Temp-to-Hire

The Production Technician is responsible for assembling and testing temperature control units. Additionally, this role involves reviewing the production schedule to determine correct job timeframes and communicating the status of jobs and parts issues to the Manufacturing Supervisor as necessary.

• Build units according to blueprint drawings and specifications.

• Review parts shortages and report them to the Manufacturing Supervisor.

• Review and manage the Production Schedule.

• Perform testing and evaluation of equipment prior to shipment.

• Crate and package equipment prior to shipment.

• Braze and solder copper assemblies.

• Interpret electrical schematics accurately.

• Actively participate as a member of the manufacturing team and report continuous improvement or corrective action suggestions to management.

• Experience: 23 years of experience working in a lean manufacturing environment.

• Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, manuals, and electrical schematics; basic computer knowledge with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Core Competencies: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Work Style: Highly organized, outward-thinking, and capable of multi-tasking under tight deadlines and shifting priorities while cooperating with internal production teams.
