Position: Clinical Pharmacist – Mixed Shift

Location: Panama City, FL (Bay County)
Shift: Full-Time | Mixed Shift
Pay Range: $58.15 – $73.56/hr + $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in a mixed shift role . This position plays a critical role in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital environment.

You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals while ensuring safe, effective, and evidence-based medication use.

Schedule:

Rotating shifts:

• 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately interpret, verify, and enter medication orders
• Compound and dispense medications safely and efficiently
• Monitor drug therapies for interactions, contraindications, and proper dosing
• Provide clinical pharmacy services (consults, pharmacokinetics, anticoagulation, renal dosing, etc.)
• Support formulary management and promote cost-effective therapies
• Educate healthcare staff and patients on medication use
• Document clinical interventions and report medication errors/adverse reactions
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support overall pharmacy operations

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care hospital experience as a Clinical Pharmacist (within the last year)
• B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
• Active Florida Pharmacist License in good standing

Compensation & Incentives:

  • $66.88 (10 years experience)
  • $73.56 (15+ years experience)
• Shift Differentials:
• • Evenings: +$3.00/hr
  • Nights: +$6.00/hr
