As the RN Manager for Specialty Services, youll guide a skilled, mission driven team improving clinic operations, patient flow, safety, quality, and the overall patient experiencewhile making a measurable difference in Tribal health across our island community/liliInfluence how care is delivered in a high impact outpatient setting/liliSupportive leadership and a positive, collaborative team/liliLead the Specialty Clinic teamcoaching, staffing, and building a culture of safety, quality, and respect/liliPartner closely with the Director of Specialty Services and the Supervisor of Scheduling Referral Coordination to optimize schedules, referrals, and access/liliStandardize and improve workflows to enhance throughput, reduce wait times, and strengthen the patient experience/liliEnsure clinical reliabilitypolicies, procedures, and competencies are current, understood, and consistently followed/liliMonitor key metrics (flow, access, quality indicators) and drive continuous improvement/liliChampion patient safety and regulatory readiness in the ambulatory environment/li/ulh3Leadership/Management/h3ulliProvide day to day leadership and mentoring to the clinic staff to proactively reduce all barriers to access, standardize consistent processes and improve the patient experience./liliIdentify and correct any staff and clinic flow or system issues./liliMentor staff and constantly seek feedback from nursing and other clinic staff and providers./liliHold regular clinic meetings to promote staff engagement, consistency, and improve clinic quality, safety, efficiency and patient experience./liliAct as an overall clinic leader to improve specialty surgery clinic services./li/ulh3Staffing/h3ulliRecruit, orient, and mentor staff./liliProvide for professional growth and development of nursing and clinic staff./liliOrient personnel concerning all new policies, procedures, routines and operating new equipment./liliAddress employee relations issues timely with the help of the Specialty Director, as needed./liliDirect and supervise nursing and clinic staff where indicated in assessment, evaluation, and treatment of patients to assure the highest quality of patient care is being provided./liliOversee annual competencies for all nursing and clinic staff./liliResponsible for the maintenance of certifications and licenses, and systematic evaluation of Nursing Services QI/QA activities./liliAssure daily clinic staffing is adequate./liliPromote outstanding quality customer service through teamwork and communication./li/ulh3Other/h3ulliEstablish and maintain supplies for clinic./liliRecommend purchase of new or replacement equipment./liliMaintain constant Joint Commission readiness for relevant areas including making sure policies, processes and the care environment are in compliance./liliMaintain annual competencies including safety and infection control requirements./liliPerform other duties as assigned, including special projects deemed necessary to provide comprehensive health services./li/ulh3Requirements:/h3ulli5+ years of varied RN experience, including ?1 year in ambulatory care/lili2+ years supervisory/managerial experience in healthcare/liliProven strengths in team leadership, change management, and service excellence/liliAssociates degree in Nursing/liliBachelors degree preferred/lili5 years of varied clinical nurse experience including 1 year in the ambulatory care environment/lili2 year of supervisory/managerial experience in the health care field/liliActive BLS/liliClinical Competency required within 3 months of hire and every three years/liliManager Competency required within 3 months of hire and every three years/liliKnowledge of the nursing process and the ability to apply this in the working environment./liliKnowledge and demonstrated use of customer service principles./liliKnowledge and demonstrated use of safety and infection control principles./liliClinical skills including a complete assessment, anticipation of needs, and specimen collection./liliTechnical skills including use of equipment such as computers and medical equipment./liliApplication of effective oral and written communications skills./liliSkills in effective communication, both verbally and in writing./liliEffective leadership skills, in a healthcare environment./liliAbility to multi-task and work independently in fast paced environment./liliAbility to maintain compliance with annual competencies./liliAbility to problem-solve and use conflict resolution skills to develop and maintain good working relations with other staff and departments./liliAbility to anticipate needs of others and to seek help when appropriate./liliAbility to move at a quick pace, stand for long periods of time, ability to bend, stoop, climb and move to the floor./liliMinimum Years of Experience: 5/li/ulh3Why Should You Apply?/h3ulliHealth Benefits/liliReferral Program/liliExcellent growth and advancement opportunities/li/ulpICONMA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
