ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Jack Archer is building something rare: a premium men's golf and lifestyle brand growing fast across DTC and wholesale. As Sr. Manager, Merchandise Planning, you'll own the financial plan behind every season, from top-down targets to the buys that land in our channels. Reporting to our Director of Product Merchandising, you'll be the voice of the numbers in every assortment conversation and have real ownership in a lean, fast-moving team.

This role is based in our New York City headquarters and operates on a hybrid schedule, with in-office collaboration Tuesday through Thursday. We believe our best creative work happens when we’re building side by side, while still allowing flexibility outside of core in-office days.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

\n

\n
• Build and own seasonal plans by channel, category, and class (sales, margin, receipts, inventory, sell-through) and manage open-to-buy in partnership with Finance.
\n
• Translate plans into assortment architecture and buy quantities with Product and Merchandising, including SKU counts, price tiers, size curves, and core vs. seasonal vs. collaboration mix.
\n
• Align buys and receipts to the master production calendar so product lands on time for every launch.
\n
• Run weekly in-season reviews and drive chase, cancel, reallocation, and markdown decisions to maximize full-price sell-through and gross margin across DTC and wholesale.
\n
• Deliver post-season recaps and own planning tools, reporting, and KPIs, improving processes as the business scales.
\n
• Lead and develop the planning function, as a trusted partner to senior leadership.
\n
• Manage inventory receipts and invoices, to align with Finance and Bill.com system.
\n

WHAT YOU HAVE

\n

\n
• 8–10+ years in merchandise planning, including 3+ years leading planning for a brand or category, ideally in premium menswear, golf, or performance/lifestyle apparel.
\n
• Multi-channel planning and allocation experience across DTC e-commerce and wholesale.
\n
• Proven ownership of OTB, seasonal plans, and in-season inventory management.
\n
• Strong financial acumen: margin, sell-through, weeks of supply, GMROI, and markdown math.
\n
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets modeling and experience with a planning or ERP system.
\n
• A clear communicator who turns data into a recommendation and defines it with Product Team.
