Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in the Emergency Room (ER), Med/Surg, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) specialties. This is a night shift position, consisting of 12-hour shifts with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. The candidate must be adaptable and willing to float to various units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in multiple settings, including ED, Med/Surg, and PCU.
• Respond to the needs of the unit by floating to where assistance is required.
• Facilitate patient transfers, admissions, and other essential procedures as assigned.
• Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess patient conditions and implement care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with proficiency in both emergency and medical/surgical nursing.
• Rural or small facility experience is highly preferred.
• Must hold a valid RN license in New Hampshire or under the Compact Agreement.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required, with PALS or ENPC to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• COVID vaccination is mandatory.
