Engineering Project Manager

Job Title: Project Engineering ManagerLocation: Peru, IndianaSalary: $125K -155K plus bonusJob Summary of the Project Engineering Manager: As a Project Engineering Manager, you will lead and manage complex technical projects in the food industry in Peru, Indiana. This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of engineering solutions, ensuring they meet required standards and codes. You will be responsible for directing and coordinating project activities, from feasibility studies to project completion. Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Project Engineering Manager:· Develop engineering designs, estimate project costs, and conduct feasibility studies. Ensure compliance with standards and codes.· Review engineering submissions for accuracy and completeness, and validate field work.· Direct vendors and contractors, manage project schedules, and collaborate with internal and external teams.· Plan layouts with vendors and contractors, review consultant work, and maintain project documentation.· Prepare, evaluate proposals, and submit reports on project status to management.· Manage contracts, review bid packages, and monitor installations for compliance and budget adherence.Education & Experience Requirements of the Project Engineering Manager:· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field, with 5+ years of experience, or equivalent.· 2+ years of leadership experience, including team management, required.· Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management skills required.· Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills required.Ability to travel and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
