Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36–48 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit within a short-term acute care, Level I Trauma Center
• Operate within a team nursing model, collaborating with LPNs and medication nurses to manage a shared patient caseload
• Respond to on-call needs and weekend assignments as required by unit staffing demands
• Adhere to all compliance, credentialing, and documentation standards required for travel nursing assignments
• Float to like units or campuses within a defined radius as needed based on staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience (strictly enforced)
• At least 1 completed prior travel nursing assignment required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Large hospital experience required
• BLS certification required; all certifications must be current or have a documented renewal plan
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible — this policy is strictly enforced

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of recent Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
• ADN accepted; BSN not required for this position
