Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess and monitor high-risk obstetric patients to develop individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Deliver direct patient care while collaborating with healthcare team members.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum care.
  
  
• 
  Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure seamless patient transitions.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of clinical assessments and interventions.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with all relevant hospital policies and industry standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid CA RN Licensure and current Nursys verification.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years' experience in Labor and Delivery, with demonstrated high-risk obstetric expertise.
  
  
• 
  Certifications including BLS (AHA), ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate required.
  
  
• 
  Ability to pass on-site EKG testing with at least 80%.
  
  
• 
  Competency in Epic electronic health record systems.
  
  
• 
  Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
