Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

$2800.27/week - Job Summary: The High Risk L&D RN provides specialized nursing care for high-risk obstetric patients in an acute setting. This role involves conducting assessments, coordinating care, and delivering patient and family education to ensure optimal outcomes. Responsibilities: Assess the health status of high-risk obstetric patients and develop individualized care plans. Deliver direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications as prescribed. Educate patients and their families on pregnancy, labor, and postpartum care. Collaborate with physicians, healthcare team members, and support systems to coordinate patient care and transitions. Document patient information accurately using electronic health records, including Epic. Participate in staffing rotations, including night shifts and weekend responsibilities. Qualifications: Active California RN license, verified within the last 2 weeks. Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery. Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certification with valid expiration dates. Demonstrated proficiency with Epic electronic health records.
