Residential Title Examiner- Austin, TX

We have a growing title agency with an office in Austin, TX, hiring a Residential Title Examiner for an immediate start. This position is onsite in the office and is not remote or hybrid. Salary: $85,000-$95,000/yr plus great benefits. This is a permanent role and not temp. Job Description Examine documents posted in the public records and the tax/appraiser record associated with the specific property. Search public records and examine the title to determine the legal condition of the property; examine copies of records such as deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, vital statistics, and plat and map books to determine ownership, encumbrances, and verify the legal description. Determine the impact of any recorded instrument in the chain of title, such as deeds, liens, judgments, etc. Outline any title curative issues required, and/or identify any senior interest. Summarize legal condition of the property and advise the client. Data entry of the results of the examination into the company's computer. Meet daily quotas. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of Texas title examination experience. Good typing skills. MS Office and internet skills are a must. Ability to stay focused and meet strict production guidelines.
