Working closely with the Maintenance Manager, this role focuses on preventative care, timely repairs, and creating a well-maintained environment for residents.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative and routine maintenance on community property and equipment.Manage and complete work orders through the work order system.Conduct general maintenance, janitorial duties, and groundskeeping.Carry out regular inspections of grounds, common areas, and buildings.Identify and report needed repairs, improvements, and safety concerns to the Maintenance Manager.Apply knowledge in carpentry, concrete, doors, drywall, fencing, cleaning, gutters, locks, plumbing, and painting.Perform additional related tasks as assigned.This description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of duties. Bilingual is a plus.Must be a proficient problem-solver.Must know how to use tools, supplies, materials, chemicals in a manner that does not endanger self, other employees, residents, the environment, or the public in general.Experience and skills with simple electric maintenance are a plus, but not necessary.Pool maintenance experience is a plus, but not necessary.RealManage is a values based, equal opportunity employer.
