Maintenance Assistant

We are currently looking for a dedicated and dependable professional to join our team at one of our managed properties in Jacksonville, FL (32256) as a Maintenance Assistant. Join Associa as a Part-time Maintenance Assistant and contribute to the upkeep and functionality of our managed properties. We are seeking a reliable individual with a passion for ensuring a safe and well‑maintained living environment for our residents. Compensation/Pay: This is an hourly position with pay in the area of $18.00-20.00 per hour. Responsibilities Perform routine upkeep and cleaning of facilities to ensure that the appearance and condition of buildings do not deteriorate. Perform maintenance cleaning at communal facilities only to ensure that the community buildings are properly maintained. Clean building fixtures, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters and drains. Operate and perform routine maintenance cleanings and upkeep as needed. Qualifications Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers and clients. Knowledge of general maintenance and cleaning procedures (power washer, windows, screens, floors, carpeting, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.). Knowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements. Knowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements. Ability to safely operate, climb and perform work on ladders (1-2 stories) – 24-28ft.
