Project Specialist

Responsibilities Kforce has a client in Los Angeles, CA that is seeking a Project Specialist. This role assists the department team in implementing and tracking specific short‑term and long‑term projects and provides administrative support. We are looking for a highly organized individual with experience or exposure to healthcare applications who can move efficiently between meetings, track and follow up on tasks, and ensure deadlines are met. A skill set comparable to project coordination is required. Provides coordination and oversight of project functions such as planning, organizing, coordination, and implementing activities to meet objectives Organizes multiple tasks with conflicting priorities, delivering the desired results on or below budget and successfully meeting deadlines Creates project plan and timeline, follows up with business owners of project‑related tasks Provides up‑to‑date and accurate reports of project budgets and schedules Provides explanation and justification of all contingency spending Problem‑solves when delays or cost overruns occur to deliver the project as close to budget and on time as possible Assists in the timely and accurate production of reports and formulation of recommendations/researches on subjects as assigned Clearly conveys complex problems and proposals in both formal and informal settings Requirements Bachelor's degree preferred 3+ years of project‑related experience Healthcare experience preferred Experience or exposure to healthcare applications Demonstrated professional experience at a similar level of complexity, including responsibility for multiple or major project management Demonstrated experience in organizing and defining tasks, setting priorities, working independently, and following through with minimal direction Excellent skills in use of personal computer software programs including but not limited to MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Detail oriented Well‑organized and works independently with minimal direction Organization/time management skills Benefits We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees.
