Picking Supervisor (swing)

Job Summary Responsible for the daily administration and operation of the warehouse, overseeing materials that are received, stored, shipped, and reported in accordance with established procedures. Direct and supervise warehouse staff, reviewing the effectiveness of operating procedures, maintenance, space utilization, and protection of equipment. Key Responsibilities Administer and oversee the daily operation of the warehouse, including processing, packaging, and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment. Develop schedules and manpower requirements for the assigned area. Resolve issues in a timely and effective manner, exercising judgment and decision‑making within defined company procedures and policies. Provide direct supervision to professional individual contributors and/or skilled or semi‑skilled non‑exempt employees. Maintain and enforce occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines. Ensure proper handling of materials up to 40 lbs, including regular push/pull and lifting, and standing for prolonged periods. Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of supervisory experience, coaching, mentoring, and training staff. Warehouse supervisory experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree a plus). Technical proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to work in a dynamic, team‑oriented environment and to communicate effectively within a group or presentation setting. Strong organizational and communication skills. Experience in manufacturing or semiconductor preferred.
