Ubicado en el Ludlow Hotel, en el histórico Lower East Side de Manhattan, Dirty French es un bistró lleno de energía creado por la reconocida empresa de hospitalidad Major Food Group y sus cofundadores Jeff Zalaznick, Mario Carbone y Rich Torrisi. El restaurante se inspira en los platos atemporales de la tradición francesa clásica y los revitaliza mediante el uso de técnicas modernas y sabores audaces y apasionantes. Entre sus muchos reconocimientos, Dirty French cuenta con dos estrellas de The New York Times.
RESPONSABILIDADES :
- Preparar y abastecer las estaciones con todos los insumos necesarios
- Preparar los alimentos para el servicio (p. ej., picar verduras, despiezar carne o preparar salsas)
- Cocinar los platos del menú en colaboración con el resto del personal de cocina
- Atender, informar y seguir las instrucciones del chef ejecutivo o del sous chef
- Limpiar la estación y encargarse adecuadamente de los alimentos sobrantes
- Mantener el inventario abastecido adecuadamente
- Garantizar que los platos salgan simultáneamente, con alta calidad y de manera oportuna
REQUISITOS :
- Se prefiere un mínimo de 1 año de experiencia en restaurantes de gran volumen y alta cocina, pero no es obligatorio
- Se valora muy positivamente contar con un diploma de cocina o experiencia equivalente
- Actitud positiva y orientada al trabajo en equipo
- Se requieren excelentes habilidades de comunicación
- Capacidad para levantar hasta 50 libras (aprox. 23 kg)
- Capacidad para trabajar de pie y caminando durante períodos prolongados
