In this role, you'll be responsible for executing prep tasks with precision and efficiency to ensure all dishes meet quality, consistency, and food safety standards.This is a fast-paced, hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in structured kitchen environments and takes pride in clean, consistent execution.What You'll DoIngredient PreparationWash, cut, portion, and prepare ingredients according to recipes and production needsExecute prep tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, cooking grains, and preparing saucesBatch Cooking & Component ProductionMonitor cooking times, temperatures, and yields to meet quality standardsEnsure all prepared items are properly labeled, stored, and organizedQuality & Food SafetyFollow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelinesEnsure proper handling, storage, and rotation of ingredients (FIFO)Production SupportWork efficiently to meet daily prep quotas and production timelinesAssist with inventory prep and waste minimizationTeam CollaborationCoordinate with kitchen leads and plating teams to ensure smooth production flowCommunicate any shortages, delays, or quality issues in real timeWhat We're Looking ForExperience in a professional kitchen or high-volume food production environment preferredStrong knife skills and basic cooking techniquesAbility to follow recipes and standardized processes with precisionComfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environmentReliable, punctual, and team-orientedFood Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain)Spanish proficiency is a plusRole DetailsHourly, non-exempt positionKitchen / food production environmentMay require early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on production needsBenefitsWeekly payHealthcare coverage through CignaDaily lunch providedGrowth and advancement opportunitiesCompensationAll final pay rates will be determined by candidates experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
