We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to support accurate and timely payroll operations for a multi-state employee population. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for a detail-focused individual who can manage end-to-end payroll activities, maintain compliance with payroll regulations, and deliver reliable service in a fast-paced environment. The role will focus on payroll administration functions such as pulling reports, tax information, and employee documentation

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update payroll records in SharePoint and PeopleSoft, verifying employee data changes such as new hires, terminations, compensation updates, and benefit deductions.

• Review payroll registers and audit reports to identify discrepancies, resolve errors, and confirm compliance before final submission.

• Administer payroll activities for a workforce of 101 to 500 employees while meeting internal deadlines and established service expectations.

• Coordinate with HR, finance, and management to gather required payroll information and address questions related to pay, taxes, and deductions.

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including proper tax withholding and reporting requirements.

• Support payroll-related reporting, reconciliations, and documentation to assist with audits and routine financial review processes.

• Assist with payroll process updates or system-related changes when needed, including testing and validation of payroll data and outputs.

• Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle payroll from data review through final processing and post-payroll reconciliation.

• Hands-on knowledge of multi-state payroll practices, including tax withholding requirements and regulatory compliance.

• Prior experience using ticketing system to answer employee inquires

• Proficiency using PeopleSoft and SharePoint for payroll administration, record maintenance, and reporting.

• Strong understanding of payroll calculations, deductions, garnishments, and related payroll procedures.

• High level of accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail when handling confidential employee and compensation information.

• Ability to investigate payroll issues, resolve discrepancies efficiently, and communicate clearly with internal stakeholders.
