Clinical Care Technician - Emergency Department St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Clinical Care Technician for our Emergency Department located within the Florence Hospital. Job Summary Shift/Hours: Full Time, 36 hours/week, 7P-7A Job Description Participates as a member of the patient care delivery team by collecting basic laboratory specimens and two hour troponins, collecting legal alcohol specimens, performing EKG’s and 2 hour EKG’s with troponins, assisting with lifting and transporting, performing vital signs, cleaning and bandaging wounds, splinting to fractures and other duties as delegated by the nursing staff within scope of training. Transport patients to testing. Perform CPR on full arrests as members of the code team. Follows all policies and procedures in the collection of laboratory samples and in the performance of EKG’s, in an accurate and timely fashion. Assists nursing staff in addressing patient care needs, rounding frequently and ensuring that environment is conducive to care.
