Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients, utilizing evidence-based practices to develop personalized treatment plans.

• Facilitating therapy sessions with couples and families, as well as individual appointments focused on specific concerns.

• Addressing complex issues such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, and adjustment challenges related to separation and divorce.

• Implementing strategies to improve communication within families, helping to rebuild trust and support systems.

• Providing psychoeducation to clients and their families on mental health topics, including coping strategies and conflict resolution.

• Staying updated on best practices and integrating new therapies into your work to enhance client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse patient population, addressing challenges faced by both adults and children/adolescents. This includes supporting blended families, navigating the implications of divorce, and helping clients process grief and loss. Your skill set will assist in dealing with issues that often impact family dynamics, ensuring a holistic approach to therapy.

Qualifications\n

To be a successful candidate, you must meet the following qualifications:

• Active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credentials in the state of California.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
